Using a document template in Joomla

I have found that it works best if I save my template document with an * at the beginning of it's name that way it always stays on the top of all the articles in the article manager.
- Find your template in the article manager
- SaveAs a copy
- Rename the article - if you are using dates for your articles use the following date format year/month/day. (In my daily notes and history I also add the name of the day of the week)
- Delete the alias so Joomla will create a new alias for the new doc
- Change the create date
- Change the publish date
- Save your article
- Now you can edit your articles from the front end of your Joomla installation.
